GOODMAN PUBLIC RELATIONS LAUNCHES SIGNATURE “SHARE THE GOOD” FUND AS AN EXTENSION OF ITS CHARITABLE GIVING
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (December 13, 2016 ) – GPR | Goodman Public Relations, a full-service public relations company founded by Michael Goodman, is pleased to announce the launch of its Share the Good Fund with an initial $10,000 investment as an extension of its recognized philanthropy. Implemented through Our Fund Foundation, GPR’s Share the Good Fund will help plant the seeds of hope for local youth and provide support for arts, education and health-related initiatives.
“In the spirit of giving this holiday season, we’re pleased to launch our Share the Good Fund that will take our philanthropic commitment to the next level,” said Goodman. “The Fund symbolizes our overall dedication to causes that matter in support of a variety of organizations implementing vital programs, launching educational efforts and hosting successful events to raise awareness and money, year round.”
The Fund’s namesake, Share the Good, sums up the company’s vision which is to share good news about its clients and its own endeavors, which both have a positive impact on the community. The simple three words will now be associated with GPR and be present on company specific collateral materials, as well as on the GPR website and social media platforms.
Since its inception in 2014, GPR | Goodman Public Relations has prided itself on developing successful strategic campaigns and maximizing results for a distinguished client roster. GPR is committed to giving back to the community and continues to fulfill its mission by working on behalf of numerous charitable organizations such as Art and Culture Center/Hollywood, Funding Arts Broward, The Harvey Milk Foundation, HANDY, John Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation, The Pride Center at Equality Park, The Heart Gallery of Broward and Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
As a recognized leader in the community, GPR founder and president Michael Goodman stands as a living example to the art of giving. He currently serves as chair of both Neighbors 4 Neighbors and the City of Wilton Manors Community Affairs Advisory Board, vice-chair of The Florida Theatrical Association and an honorary Board member for the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood. His civic engagement also includes past chair and board positions on behalf of ArtServe, ARC Broward, Family Central, Gilda’s Club South Florida, Junior Achievement of South Florida, Poverello Center and the School Advisory Board for the City of Oakland Park.
Additionally, Goodman has been recognized as the “2016 Man of the Year” by the Art and Culture Center/Hollywood, as 2013 “Leader of the Year” by Leadership Broward Foundation, as an ArtServe Encore Awards winner and as an “Up & Comer” by The South Florida Business Journal.
